Terms of use
Last updated June 2026
These terms govern your use of Workmilo. By creating a profile, posting a role, using the worker feed, or contacting another user, you agree to the terms below. Workmilo is operated in the United Kingdom and is intended for UK-based workers and hirers.
Using Workmilo
Workmilo provides a platform for UK workers to publish a work profile and for UK hirers to discover and request contact with available talent. You must be 18 or over and have the right to work in the UK where relevant.
You agree to use Workmilo only for lawful purposes. We may add, change or remove features during Early Access with reasonable notice where appropriate.
Worker profiles
Workers are responsible for the accuracy of the information they publish — including trade, availability, location, qualifications and right-to-work status. Profiles must represent you honestly. Workmilo may hide or remove profiles that are misleading, inactive or breach these terms.
Hirer accounts
Hirer accounts are intended for UK businesses with a valid Companies House registration where applicable. Hirers must represent themselves accurately and only use Workmilo to source workers for genuine roles. Misleading job descriptions or misuse of contact details may result in suspension.
Contact requests
Workmilo uses a request-first system: hirers send a contact request describing the role, location and start date. A worker's contact details remain private until they accept. Details unlocked through an accepted request are for that hiring conversation only and must not be shared, resold or used for unrelated marketing.
Feed and content
- Do not post abusive, discriminatory, misleading or illegal content.
- Only share work photos and posts you have the right to publish.
- Respect reports and moderation decisions — repeated breaches may lead to suspension.
Payments
Workers join Workmilo for free. During Early Access, hirer access is free unless we clearly state otherwise on the platform. Future paid plans or features may be introduced with notice.
When paid plans apply, fees are processed by our payment provider. Fees are non-refundable except where required by UK consumer law.
No job guarantee
Workmilo connects workers and hirers but does not guarantee work, hires, interviews or specific outcomes. We are not the employer of any worker on the platform and we are not party to any agreement reached between a worker and a hirer.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for your account, your conduct on the platform, and any communication after a contact request is accepted. You must not harass, discriminate against, or attempt to defraud other users.
Workers and hirers remain responsible for their own agreements, pay, right-to-work checks, qualifications, insurance, site safety and legal compliance.
Account suspension
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, receive sustained reports, or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the community. Where possible we will notify the user and provide an opportunity to respond.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Workmilo is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform, including loss of work, loss of business, or the actions of other users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
